DGFT DIGITAL SIGNATURE FOR IMPORT/EXPORT

  • Valid login credentials to the DGFT portal, which can be obtained after registering on the portal.
  • An active Firm's Permanent Account Number (PAN) and its details, such as the name as per PAN, date of birth or incorporation. Please note that these details will be validated with the Income Tax Department site.
  • Scanned documents for upload in the system, which should be in PDF format and have a maximum file size of 5 MB. These documents include:
  • Proof of establishment/incorporation/registration, depending on the type of firm (partnership, registered society, trust, HUF, others).
  • Proof of address, which can be any one of the following documents: sale deed, rent agreement, lease deed, electricity bill, telephone landline bill, mobile bill, post paid bill, MoU, partnership deed. For proprietorship firms, other acceptable documents include Aadhar card, passport, voter ID. If the address proof is not in the name of the applicant firm, a no objection certificate (NOC) by the firm premise’s owner in favour of the firm, along with the address proof, should be submitted as a single PDF document.
  • Proof of the firm's bank account, which can be either a cancelled cheque or a bank certificate.
  • The user should have an active Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) or Aadhaar of the firm's member for submission.
  • An active firm's bank account is required to enter its details in the application and make online payment of the application fee.
